empty beds

I never like sleeping alone. Plus, I have to get up early tomorrow and I know I won't be able to fall asleep anytime soon. To keep myself occupied I'm scanning polaroids, spinning records, watching some mind numbing show on the television and browsing the lovely little 'No thoughts' zine that came in the mail today. You can get a copy for $5 over at We are now in space.

painted

A few days ago a girl named Valentina sent me this painting that she did based on one of my photos. I especially love how the kitty looks. Thanks again Valentina! You can visit her on flickr.

on a cold sunday

I feel like I'm coming down with a fever, probably due to the sudden change of temperature. I can't remember the last time I had shivers like this, but it's really quite nice, for a change. Anyway, these are some shitty polaroids from yesterday. I'm not at home with my scanner right now, so I'll have to scan them properly on tuesday instead, and hopefully they'll look a little less like crap. EDIT: New versions are up!

We went to pick berries.

I still have a lot of frames left from these two rolls, but these are the last three, for now.

over the fields

The last few days have been way too hot. We've basically been passed out in bed most of the time. Managed to take a little walk about half an hour ago, but even though the sun isn't up anymore the warmth is still unbearable.

six by six

Went and picked up a newly developed roll of film yesterday. Or it was actually Leo's, but since I have nothing else to post at the moment I might as well show you a couple of his frames. (Zeiss Ikoflex + Kodak Portra 400NC).

Another polaroid from yesterday.

wind in the wires

Made a little trip to the sea with my cousin, to shoot a small series for an exhibition. These are some polaroids (Tz Artistic film), and I also went through two rolls of film with the zenit. Hopefully it will turn out as good as it felt whilst shooting.

at home again

nylon magazine

I was featured in the July issue of Nylon Magazine (Korea), and earlier today I picked up a package containing a copy of it. I have absolutely no idea what it says, except for the interview questions that I answered, but still so lovely!

nothing, really

I'm at Leo's house at the moment, and for some reason I'm never very good at updating when I'm here (or even using the internet at all). So instead, here's one of our kittens at home, from last week. I hope they're doing well without me! We watched Velvet Goldmine tonight, a movie that I have been wanting to see since I was probably fourteen or something. My expectations were kind of high, but I can honestly say that I loved every minute of it. Now: strawberries and whipped cream!
