    I'm planning on buying a zenit soon (maybe a zenit E)
    I've got a little question: do you scan your pictures straight from negatives (in that case, do you use a specific scanner?) or have you an "impression" (sorry I'm french...) done by a shop and then scan them?

    lou: thank you! yes, I scan my photos straight from the negatives, and the scanner I use is an epson perfection 3200. to scan negatives you would need either a scanner with a light in the lid or with a "negative pocket" :) by impression I assume you mean prints, and no, I never get prints when I develop film, it's so expensive.
