Starting up a print shop is something I've been thinking about for quite some time, especially since it would be much easier to handle the sales if someone would like a print - this way we wouldn't have to email back and forth in order to complete a sale. A few days ago I started setting the shop up, and now you can visit it here.
I'm starting off slowly with only three products: A set of four prints in 10x15cm (limited to ten editions), and two larger polaroid prints in 30x30cm: I, whale and Trefoil. Payment can be made safely via Paypal or with a credit card. You can read more about payment and shipping in the about-section of the shop. (If you purchase something, make sure that the address in your Paypal account is correct.)
At the moment I have room for two more products in the shop, so if there is any photograph you would like to see there and would consider purchasing, let me know which ones and in what size (approx.) you would like it to be.

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! You're photos are beautiful. You have such great talent.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful news! It would be an honor to hang your photography in my apartment!
ReplyDeletemari: lovely :) I hope you'll like the polaroid book!
ReplyDeletehannah: hehe, sorry :) that "no spending this month" never works for me, I can get by for maybe a week or two at the most if I really need to.
lisa: fully noted! :)
geneviève: thank you! kind prices is a must :)
maycie & kim: thank you so much!
hello Annette.
ReplyDeletecertainly I will buy your photos! i really love your works! i would like to aks you something about your camera zenit-b. I didn't manage to ask under the older post (about your cameras). what kind of helios 44-2 did you use? with MC or without? (the one without MC is older). i would be very grateful if you could answer me.
with regards,
Monik
monik: thank you! my helios lens has no MC. I wasn't aware that there were MC versions of the 44-2, I thought it was just the 44-3, 44M-4 and so on.
ReplyDeleteno MC version is named 'zebra' and looks like that: http://www.flickr.com/photos/banpei/5122885426/
ReplyDeletethis lens does not reflect light.

ReplyDeleteis that reallly you?
oh, sorry. i think that you have helios 44-2, but you have helios 44 :)
ReplyDeletemonik: yeah, I know what multi coating does, but I think I prefer when the light is reflected in some situations - it adds a nice touch :) and I do have the 44-2, not the 44.
ReplyDeleteanonymous: no, that's obviously not me since her name is beatrice. I guess she is just using a photo of me for some reason (something that happens all the time, haha)
oh, I just noticed that it actually is the 44! when I looked at the lens before to answer your question about the mc I thought it was the 44-2. I guess my eyes saw what my mind wanted, haha :)
ReplyDeletehaha :) i saw it on this photo:
ReplyDeletehttp://farm6.static.flickr.com/5096/5525548403_1be0c2ef9f_b.jpg
on flickr you taged it: 44-2, but you use 44 :)
hehe, I've always thought it was the 44-2 since that was what the seller stated in the description on ebay when I bought it, (I've always thought that it said 44-2 on the lens as well for some reason - strange how your mind can play tricks on you like that) and I guess I haven't thought more about it until you brought my attention to it just now :)
ReplyDeleteI think, that 44 is better than 44-2. among others because MC isn't. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't used any other than the 44, so I wouldn't know, but that's nice to hear :)
ReplyDeleteand.. if I can ask, you prefer your pentacon or helios?
ReplyDeleteMonik
hej annette, i like your idea with the shop. may i ask where you print your photos? a local store? via internet? i would also like to make some prints of my picture but it's not that easy to find a good company.
ReplyDeletebest wishes!
monik: the helios is definitely better than the pentacon and I prefer it over the other. it gives a much better depth and the images are more crisp and clear. the pentacon is nice too, but the sharpness isn't as good.
ReplyDeletemaxie: thank you! I print them at a professional lab here in sweden, and it is all done via internet (I upload large files, they print them and then I get them in the mail the next day). if there's no good internet-printing service in germany I think your best bet is to go to a local store and talk to them :)
