  2. These are absolutely breathtaking. Hard to pick a favorite amongst them, although I do keep coming back to frames ONE & THREE. The closeup of Caroline is beautiful, but there is something about the land & sky behind her in frame THREE that makes it magical. I do hope you include those photographs in your Zenit-B collection. If I may ask, what type of film did you use for this set?

  7. thanks guys!

bianca: I think the first one is my current favorite of all time. I'm not really sure about the third, I love the landscape behind her as well, but the composition could be a little better. not sure how though. I will definitely include some of these in the collection! I used fuji superia 800 for these, expired for a couple of years. most of the pictures were really washed out and had weird contrast, but for these it works pretty good!

  10. I was browsing your website earlier, and in relation to no series of yours in particular but as the collective experience of your work, I wrote the following on my computer:

'and somebody, somewhere is hiding in the snow with a polaroid and a pistol, knowing she'll be caught soon.'

your work is beautiful, annette, and is apparently inspiring late night scribblings somewhere in California.
