a lack of colour
I wish the winter would go away soon. Everything is just cold, grey, boring and uninspiring. Right now I'm mostly sitting indoors, eating cookies and reading Murakami. (Three frames from the latest zenit-roll.)

I love murakami, I wish spring light, lots of light...here in stockholm he weather isn't that good either. I miss the flowers. Wondeful photos as always.
ReplyDeletefin stämning i den i mitten!
ReplyDeleteOh yes I miss spring so much :( But I think the winter is not always uninspiring, when you walk outside in the night with all that dark, it can be beautiful too.
ReplyDeletecan we escape the cold?
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the first picture :)
you are doing the right thing, then.. murakami is what makes you understand the world at least a bit.
ReplyDeleteJust three more weeks now, and it will be spring on the calendar at least :)
ReplyDeleteLove your photos... but i also love winter!! Anyway, in Italy we have 18°C and sun right now... i'm on the terrace taking a sunbath... you could escape the cold here!
ReplyDeleteWe're having similar grey days here too... I like to think of this time of year as a moment to save up inspiration, so that it will burst out when spring returns.
ReplyDeletedu är grym!
ReplyDeletehelt klart en inspirationskälla.
grymma bilder, grymt ljus. allt känns bara helt underbart. hur du lockar fram tankar med dina bilder är helt magiskt.
I have just borrowed a book by murakami, now it is in the waiting list. I really love your first picture, you have introduced and excelent mood. About the winter, I'm in the same situation, is cold and unispiring and I'm always sitting indoor because outside is nothing interesting to see or something like this.
ReplyDeletetycker alltid hemskt mycket om dina brusiga fotografier. har en rulle film 800asa som jag aldrig vågar ladda kameran med, har du provat fota i det någon gång?
ReplyDeletelove Murakami! My first was "Norvegian Wood"... last night I couldn't sleep so I started a new one: "Kafka on the Shore"...
ReplyDeletewonderfull job
ReplyDeletewonderfull pictures, i love them !!!!
ReplyDeleteI like rhe winter in the pictures !! :-)

although it does have a lack of colour, these photos are beautiful. It has a sense of people and loneliness....

xoxo, A
I so understand how you feel Annette, lately I've been really tired of cold and greyness and all these things. I even think I might be a summer photographer haha because winter makes me hybernate and it's hard to find inspiration (compared to summer)..
ReplyDeletebut your pictures are always wonderful :) x
jag verkligen dundergillar dina fotografier och blogg. wow
ReplyDeletemaike: that's true, maybe I should take some nighttime walks!
ReplyDeletejasmin: I so wish we could.
maja: hopefully all the snow will be gone by then, at least :)
marco: I love winter as well, but only when the snow is fresh and all the trees are covered in it - now everything is melting away to this brown and gooey slush that is nothing but ugly. 18°C is the perfect temperature in my mind, I wish I could go there!
danielle: that is probably true :)
joanna: my favorite murakami would have to be norwegian wood. and kafka on the shore is a close second :)
maria: I'm probably like that too, during the summertime I always feel inspired, and I guess the sunlight gives much energy :)
tack så mycket för alla kommentarer!
thank you so much for all the comments you've left here!
Hi Annette,

ReplyDeletesaneesh: haha, thank you :) I still have quite a few murakami books left from my birthday, so I think I'm set for a while ahead. really looking forward to 1Q84 as well!
